  • Ministry of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Risks Management-NUG issued safety measures against strong winds which tend to occur in Myanmar in the pre-monsoon period; April and May.

  • In Waw Township of Bago Region, the junta army in Letpan Village shot heavy artillery into Kaywe Village in Kyaikto Township of Mon State on the other side of Sittaung River on Friday morning. Consequently, local people have had to take refuge in safe places.

  • There was an attack on a junta troop from Kathar on their way to support their forces in the battle against revolutionary forces to seize Indaw town. According to No. (1) Military Region, 33 junta soldiers died and 31 others were caught alive.

  • The NUG’s Representative to Australia Dr. Tun Aung Shwe stated that even amidst hardships in battlefields and jungles, the Islamic members of People’s Defence Force fast and pray during Ramadan.

  • Union Prime Minister of the NUG Man Win Khine Than called for responsive action of respective complaint mechanisms to resolve the issues reported to the central government with reliance.

  • In the areas under the control of Mandalay PDF, public’s meetings were conducted, along with educational talks on preventive measures against aerial assaults.

  • In Myaing Township of Magway Region, there was an attack via sniper on a Pyusawti member on watch duty in Kanni Village. Reportedly, he fell off the watch tower and died.
