Myanmar Military junta bombs Shan and Bago regions hours after earthquake
Despite the large-scale destruction caused by the powerful earthquake, the military junta in Myanmar reportedly bombed Nawnghkio Township in the northern part of Shan State, near Kan Gyi Kone village, just hours after the tremor.
The bombing of Kan Gyi Kone village in Nawnghkio Township occurred just hours after the earthquake. Preliminary reports suggest there were casualties due to the airstrike, but further details have yet to be confirmed.
Additionally, it has been reported that bombings took place in villages east of the Sittaung River, in the Phyu Township area of Bago Region, just hours after the earthquake struck.
